Best praise vs top criticism for Zenbivy Bed
“Big Agnes Rapide SL is definitely not the smallest pack volume for a sleeping pad. That award would either go to a Thermarest Uberlight (discontinued) or Zenbivy Ultralight. I think you’re in the right track looking at the Timmermade SUL .75 for down jacket vs the Montbell Plasma. I think my Cumulus Plancklite compresses smaller than the Montbell too FWIW. Good luck on this list, as it would be an ideal resource for those looking to downsize to a smaller pack.”
“Not worth it. You can layer a synthetic quilt on top for half the price or less. Spend the money on a four session Thermarest Xtherm at 16 oz. with a lifetime warranty and a 7.3 R value. You can also layer sleeping pads to increase your R value. You can use half of a Thermarest Ridgecrest to add 2R value at 6-7 oz. to your current sleep system. Zenbivy has no lifetime warranty on their sleeping pads. Buying a Thermarest is a lifetime purchase.”
