Try E-Mu Teak. They are still in production, use the same housing and drivers and I think sound even better.

I recently got the E-MU Teak Headphones w/ Removable Cable from Drop and I’ve noticed a couple of issues that I’m hoping you can help me figure out: 1. Metallic Resonance: When watching YouTube videos, especially podcasts, there’s a subtle metallic resonance or vibration in the vocal tracks. It seems to bounce around the ear cups and can get quite pronounced. 2. Ticking Sound: With my Topping dx3 pro+ set to high gain, the right ear starts producing a constant, timed ticking noise, even when audio is playing. The sound disappears when I switch to low gain. Has anyone experienced these issues or do I have a defective unit?
