Best praise vs top criticism for Chicco Corso LE Modular Travel System
“Baby bath towels are awesome and so are wash cloths - you just have to get the right ones. If you have a bottle washer it would be pretty easy to wash/sterilize any bottle and their pieces Instead of trimming baby’s nails - get a nail buffer ! You don’t want to make the mistake of trimming them too short You can definitely get a travel system with an infant car seat. The chicco corso primo has a stroller seat attachment which reclines all the way down like a bassinet and it has newborn cushions - you can use it this once you’re done using the infant car seat or for walks. Instead of shoes you can get little booties. And if you wanna get shoes get shoes! They’re cute for pictures anyways. This list OP created is fine - but your baby is your baby and whatever experience you want to have with them is your decision. Don’t let anyone else’s experience deter you from doing what you want!”
“Hahah well I hope you're able to have all the children you want, in the timing you want! But either way, my best piece of stroller-purchasing advice across the board is to ONLY take stroller recommendations from people who live in very similar physical circumstances to yours. When we were living in Manhattan in an elevator building, we needed a stroller that could beast across uneven sidewalks without a bump but only occasionally needed to be hauled up or down subway steps and that could fold down small--but I absolutely would have bought a different stroller if we'd been in a walkup building, and now that we're out in the suburbs and have a bigger kid we have an entirely different stroller that's super easy to get in and out of the car. Our stroller journey looked like: 1) Used Uppababy Vista bought secondhand with bassinet--used 0-6 months for maternity leave (lots of nice walks and stroller naps, plus we actually had him sleep in the assembled stroller in the living room for the first week home so the baby nurse could take care of him out there), sold it for $100 more than we bought it for bc I actually bothered to clean the thing. 2) Chicco Corso LE bought at the Buy Buy Baby closeout as part of a package with the carseat we were buying anyway--used through his first year in the city and still using in the suburbs, just sits fully loaded in our garage. 3) Guava Roam Jogging Stroller gifted from a friend--used 6-12 month as our in-city daycare transport because it folds down really small and we could leave it there. Do NOT buy a new jogging stroller unless you are an always-training competitive runner, they are always available secondhand and barely-used. 4) Babyzen Yoyo bought secondhand with all accessories--lives in the trunk of our car and comes on the plane with us if we're going anywhere other than our parents' homes. We're currently in the process of trying for our second and I honestly have no idea if we'll buy a double stroller or not; at this point I'm most interested in the Joovy Caboose because my son likes to get in and out of the stroller a lot anyway, but who knows where we'll end up. So if you end up on Team Can't Stop Buying Strollers you're not alone :)”
