Best praise vs top criticism for Capita Kazu Kokubo Pro
“Kazu is a good board, that is a normal end of season sale price. Solid deal but nothing crazy”
“Got a Capita Kazu, rode it 3 days the past week, did not like it as much as my old one ('22-'23). Much prefer to have that camber in the rear. Will probably sell it in the fall. Good board, but nothing special or interesting about it. Also got a Ride Deep Fake earlier in the season. Sidecut is much shorter than advertised (10.5m for 161w), the blended sidecuts make it feel closer to a 7-8m. The sidecut really bites and pulls you into a turn. I was expecting much more drawn out carves (based on advertised sidecut).... but it's still a fun board. The accusations of "lack of pop" are true. BUT. the tradeoff is that it absolutely bulldozes over everything, and it all feels so smooth and damp. Found one for 50% off, have 4 days on it. Really really like it at that price.”
