tldr; Twin freestyle board with Flying V profile. Playful and catch-free but lacks pop. Good for learning park, outgrown quickly by progressers.

Best praise vs top criticism for Burton Process
“bruh I promised myself I’d say something the next time I saw you post on here: I’m a pretty mid rider and have recently been trying to document my beginner girlfriend’s progress here and there. what you do and how well you do it is insane. I didn’t think it was easy before or anything, but holy fuck you’re following people off jumps and shit, continually getting amazing footage in process, absolutely wild. thanks for sharing your gift.”
“lol, this is why I don't recommend buying 3bt unless you've ridden it and know you like it. Go get a Jones Mountain Twin. It's not catchy due to the 3d spoon nose shaping, but also not anything like 3bt. The JMT is a do it all, master of nothing, forgiving board. It will help you learn proper snowboarding form while being forgiving in the process. It's my favorite progression board for riders looking to get better up to Advanced levels. It has a high skill ceiling with a low skill barrier of entry. It will accomplish everything you're looking for well. I would stay away from a Jones Flagship (my favorite board for freeriding), and most stiff boards, until your skills are stronger. A JMT will float powder, carve ice, and can be ridden across the entire mountain. It's what you're looking for.”
