+5 pts“At your height/weight you probably need ~140-145. Weight matters most, height matters a little (because it raises your center of mass). I weighed 95-105 (and a few inches shorter than you) when I did most of my riding. My first board was a 138. It quickly became too small for all-mountain. (Would have been fine for park but I wasn't into that.) My next was a 145 Burton Feelgood (camber, stiff) and it was fine. I really wouldn't go any smaller than 140 for all-mountain riding. 142-143 may be your sweet spot. (I'm 115 lbs now and just bought a 143.) Can you demo some different boards in different sizes and see how they feel to you?”

+2 pts“The Wonder is the softest of these. The Feelgood is the stiffest. If you don't generally ride fast then I wouldn't choose the Feelgood. It's going to be harder to maneuver at slower speeds. The rest are all rocker-camber-rocker profiles and it's a great way to go. It's what I wanted for myself and my riding style is a lot like yours. The Twin Sister is a do-anything board that everyone who has ridden it seems to love. It's mid-stiff but not too stiff, so you can take it fast or go slow. It's a very good option that seems to fit what you want to do, which is a little bit of everything. There's a reason it gets recommended so much. The only ladies who don't love it seem to be the ones who want something a bit more aggressive. If you ride on a lot of uneven/bumpy snow then the Wonder isn't your best choice, it's not very damp. But it is a good and underrated all-mountain freestyle board, nimble, good at jumps, etc. A similar underrated board is the Rossignol Airis. The Airis is more damp and has a lot of rocker in the tip so it does well in powder. Since the Airis has so much rocker in the tips it loses some stability going very fast (but still does well at moderate speeds.) So if you're interested in the Wonder I would consider the Airis, too. The Equalizer is a directional, more freeride oriented board. It can do everything you want it to do, but it's a little less mellow and playful than the others. I think the Twin Sister may be your best all-around option.”
