+1 pts“Depends on the headphone, and if it supports USB audio or 3.5mm audio. In my case, the XM5 reverts to its stock EQ, which sounds horrible and muddy, so I don't bother with it in Wired mode. And my Momentum-4 clearly was not made for Wired mode, because it goes completely limp and is clearly underpowered, especially if the bass is turned up even slightly. My Bose AE2 is another story though. The difference is night and day between BT and Wired. I had used it for years wirelessly, and never realized how muddy it truly was until I went wired. May be a different story with other headphones, but that's been my experience with those 3.”
