Best praise vs top criticism for BodyBilt J-Series
“Going to also throw out a couple others: AllSteel, I think they get lost sometimes on this sub, but I pick these guys over Haworth to round out the big three in my personal opinion. I’ve given friends the ability to pick any of my chairs and of the 4 that took me up on it, 2 went AllSteel, and I daily drive an AllSteel Task 19 at my work as well. Bodybilt/Neutral Posture, great customizable chairs that have more adjustments than you could dream of. Ergocentric, I don’t have experience personally but great reviews from some people I really respect here AllSeating You specifically is a great chair as well.”
“I get what you are saying, but I do disagree (not on the stretching but limiting the options). The world doesn’t end at Steelcase and HM, there are quite a few good chair companies that simply don’t market to residential users and only strictly commercial. Examples include but aren’t limited to: Humanscale, AllSteel, AllSeating, Via, Nightingale, Haworth, Bodybilt, Lifeform, Teknion, and many more. The key is to avoid gaming chairs, Gabrylily and HJDUSTPIC or whatever random Amazon Brand, most Office Max/staples chairs, and find chairs that were built specifically for offices because the build quality and the ergonomics are much more important when the chair company is on the hook to replace ones that don’t work even 10 years later.”
