Best praise vs top criticism for Body-Solid GPR400
“It resembles Body Solid rack (they have bigger holes on the sides) https://bodysolid-europe.com/products/body-solid-power-rack-gpr400”
“Rant: How many people are there here who bought $5000+ of equipment that have an actual strength base (300/400/500 B/S/D)? Why are so many people spending several thousand dollars before even learning to lift weights? If you haven't lifted for even 1 year seriously and gotten close to a strength base, how are you supposed to know what equipment you will need? I spent 10 years in a gym before buying a $400 rack, a $800 rep bench, and 800lbs of weight plates which is all anyone NEEDS. It blows my mind seeing people buy a $2000 rogue rack, $1000 rep bench, $1500 cable tower, $1000+ in dumbells, and only ~400lbs of overpriced plates since they haven't lifted for longer than 6 consecutive months and can't lift any heavier. Then they make a post flaunting their big purchase saying "what should I add?", when the only thing they need to add is some weight to their lifts. Its the equivalent of buying a $3000 mountain bike just to try out biking, and it makes me sick.”
