Best praise vs top criticism for Body Glove Performer 11
“"Tracks well" and "agile" are two opposites of board design. Your agility is going to have to come from your skill with any of those boards. None of them are designed for agility, they are all designed for straight-line tracking. Avoid the Zen construction like the plague. It's super flexible. Starboard DSC is about 6 tiers of quality above Aqua Marina in both construction and shape. That's a no brainer. Plus, if you are coming from a body glove performer, jumping to a 25" wide board is going to be a huge, huge, drop in stability - especially if Aqua Marina didn't 100% nail the shape and rigidity (doubtful they did either). The 14x30 Touring DSC is absolutely the best value per dollar on your list, even though it's the most expensive. I'd get that, use whatever paddle you have until you can save up the $200-300USD for a good-quality mid-range touring style paddle.”
“It's crazy wide though. Stability, sure, but definitely has limitations from the width. Also, comparing Costco prices and listed prices... I am not sure if that's meaningful. The Performer 11 they sell is listed for about 3x the Costco price on the maker's site and is absolutely not worth that much.”
