Best praise vs top criticism for Benchmade 940 Osborne
“The wear on your Osborne has made it looks so much cooler. I lost mine last year and I'm still hoping to stumble back and find it, my favorite knife.”
“There's also the consideration that a double edge knife is usually not good for many utility tasks. They usually have thick edges, and you can't safely put your thumb on the blade for leverage. Legally you can carry whatever in my state, but I stick to normal folders (Benchmade 940 today) just because they're convenient to use for everyday tasks and comfortable to carry. Wearing a sheath knife for EDC is just not worth the bother for me.”
