“Don’t get the Baratza. Please don’t. I started my pour over journey with Baratza Virtuoso+, which is a step up from the Encore. I saw all these amazing reviews and thought I had gotten an incredible grinder. But it is trash for light roast pour over. I haven’t used this so take my advice with a grain of salt and it would require a little bump in the budget - but I think a Kingrinder K6 would be your best bet. Ppl rave about it on here and retail is $99. Buy once cry once. If you get the Baratza, you will either be: 1) giving up your pour over journey and prematurely retiring; or, 2) buying another Grinder sometime within the next year. I guarantee it.”
