Best praise vs top criticism for Audio-Technica ATH-M20x
“I picked up a pair of Audio Technica Ath M20xbt last month. hot swappable aux cable: easy to replace Aux sound will always work even with dead battery. Design is light and plastic No moving parts or hinges Sounds insane Got some new pads and I wear them for 9 hours a day for my remote software dev job, mix of wired and wireless. Only need to charge it once every 3 weeks or so, uses type c. Battery life is so good because whenever I sit down I plug the aux in. I'm planning on keeping these for 3 to 5 years and then either get some Sennie Hd6xx or upgrade next month to the m50xbt2 and give these to my girlfriend as a gift. These headphones could easily last 10+ years though.”
“I just got mine. They're not bad at first, sound nice and convenient fit, a bit on the darker side, tuning bassy bleeding a bit up as expected and a bit dark veil. Only issue so far is the right driver rattles with distortion on some bassy sounds but not all the time. Might be a Bluetooth issue. Just a question, you mentioned "passthrough". I don't have any instructions for this, are you saying this has ANC features? How do you activate them? Thanks”
