Best praise vs top criticism for Asus ROG Strix G15 (2021)
“My first true gaming laptop was an Asus strix with an i7-9750h and RTX 2060. I used it everyday like you, both for media and heavy gaming. I was pretty much glued to it. It's been 6 years now and the only problem it got is 2 keys on the keyboard no longer working. This model also has liquid metal and hasnt been changed in those 6 years lol. Similarly, my other much older laptop that had an i5 and GTX 850M is still kicking and is being used by my little brother, who uses it to play games like Lol and some older gen FPS games. That thing is like 8 years old and also hasnt had its thermal paste changed, its crazy that its still working. Unfortunately I think you just got a bad unit, im not familiar with the LOQ models but you did mention that a batch of it seems bad? If you're really not using the portability of a gaming laptop you should definitely build a PC. I also have my own PC now and no doubt its stronger and cheaper to build compared to my gaming laptop.”
“I was really Silke wanting to wait but then there’s no need if I really really want I can later still upgrade again but now it would be useful for me I hate the bigger heavy g15 RTX 3070 ASU’s one 😅”
