Best praise vs top criticism for Aer Flight Pack 3
“This is the Brown Buffalo 19L conceal. The price tag is very steep and much more than I originally wanted to spend, but it fits what I wanted well. Pros: - Great materials - Good organization - Cords, Airpods, notebook, pens, whatever - Perfect spots for a water bottle, Nintendo Switch, and Switch Pro Controller all at once (Without the buttons getting pressed on the controller and having somewhat dedicated spots for each - was having a tough time with this) - Bag looks even better in person - very clean aesthetics Cons: - Not a big fan of the zipper pulls - one came loose. Replacing with some cheap ones from Etsy - Doesn't quite fit my 15.6" laptop in the dedicated laptop pouch (fits easily in the main backpack though) Overall - I love this pack. Had previously tried the Aer Flight Pack 2 and the Minaal Daily Bag.”
“None of my bags really fill my requirements other than the Glaser (not even that, it lacks the water bottle holder). They would be: *Must-have*: * Large single compartment to avoid wasted space (a thin compartment for a laptop is OK) * Outside water bottle holder, preferabily the pull-out mesh type that is zippered shut otherwise * Comfortable curved shoulder straps with a sternum strap * a carry handle, e.g. when I have to take it off in the Tube * stands up and does not topple, even when fully loaded *Nice to have*: * Lightweight fabric, e.g. X-Pac VX or Dyneema * some organization, but too much as it has diminishing returns and can get in the way, not to mention waste space and weight * dedicated umbrella pocket similar to the water bottle pocket I am going to try the AER Tech Pack V2 when it comes out. Sadly it is not available in VX, but it does have the sternum strap unlike the Flight Pack V2.”
