“lenovo legion 9I or alienware 18-area 51 are your two best bets in my opinion. The alienware is A LOT chunkier but has superior cooling system (3 big fans + 1 medium-sized fans and vapour chamber) and will maintain good temperatures even under high loads. Lenovo legion 9i is also really good and is the best overall gaming laptop in the 18 inch form with good performancem, upgradability and port selections as well. Make sure you get RTX 5090 mobile GPU and intel core ultra 9 275HX. Other options would be asus strix scar 18 or razer blade 18(but I would be wary about razer's QC), the blade 18 is a surprisingly really good product. If you want 16 inch form factor, asus strix scar 16 or lenovo legion pro 7i is the way to go IMO, but the pro 7i will not have thunderbolt 5, so be aware of that. I would avoid acer predator helios 18 and MSI's titan 18 HX and raider 18 even though they have the same maxed out specs because their cooling system sucks and the performance is worse than their competitions.”
