I've yet to see a post where a Thinkware (mine has onboard voltage monitoring) killed a battery. If you're looking for a safe replacement, maybe find one that doesn't depend on a $5 power adapter.”

On the unit I tested the included 64GB card came formatted fat32, and worked for me out of the box with the mac I was using though I needed to use VLC to play the files. Manual indicates the same format is used on the G850. I'd format the original card in the cam, record and review on the mirror cam, reboot and review again, then power it off and remove the SD to try in the mac again. This will insure there is something on the card, and that the card is not corrupted on removal. Wolfbox has models with WiFi, which you can connect to directly using the ios app, but getting a cheap android table or used laptop and using wifi and icloud to transfer the files is likely your lowest cost and hassle option. Unclear what would happen if you tried to connect directly to the USB c.”
