+13 pts“I have used Duplexes for more nights than any other tent. DCF floor is fine without a footprint with no abrasion problems that I have noticed. I've used an X-Mid Pro 2 for more than a year. The silnylon is fine, but I use a polycro footprint (about 50 g). I cannot imagine either getting shredded at all even on granite. Besides, DCF is trivially patched. I suspect silnylon is as well. I do carry both DCF patch/tape and silnylon patch in my repair kit.”

It's notably colder than my old gen tensor insulated and the new thermarest Xlite NXT. Try testing it with another layer, ccf, reflective sheet, etc, to see how much it helps. It won't matter how good the quilt/bag is if your losing heat from the ground.”
