+53 pts“I also love my HD650s. If Im being honest, Im really thinking about selling my Arya Stealths, because I dont enjoy listening to them that much compared to the 650s. Sure, they are better in every technical aspect, but the tonality just doesnt work for me, even with EQ. The treble never is quite right. And the biggest thing is: Im so tired of fucking around with EQ, trying to fix the tonality of technically capable headphones. What I love most about the HD650s (and HD600s for that matter) is that they have *impeccable* midrange and treble balance with *zero* (!) EQ applied. I always thought that „Im retiring from the hobby with a HD600/650“ was kind of a meme, but nowadays Im thinking about doing it myself. I have owned multiple high end headphones, yet I always come back to the 600/650.”
