“Highly dependant on the room, but that goes for any and all setups. Atmos isn't solely dependant on the upfiring speakers either, but work in conjunction with *all* of the speakers. Definitely not a gimmick. Not comparable to in-ceiling speakers, but it will 100% enhance the sound in a meaningful way. The quality of the mix itself and how it was mixed matters a tonne too. I'm using the Theatre Quads, and some streamed movies might have a sensation of stuff moving above. But when I play something like Dune on 4k blu-ray, it's **spot on**.”

I warned both my neighbours downstairs and to the side about me getting a new home theater, waited for a friday evening when they weren’t busy and everything was quiet.
