Osprey Farpoint 40 vs Peak Design Everyday Backpack

“didnt like the big pocket of the farpoint 40. It Was to big everything that i put in there sliped down and was bulky after that. So i brought the backpack to the tailor so he sewed me 3 additional pockets on the inside. Now i have some more organisation posibilities. Another good thing is that now the backpack has a quick access pocket on the inside the very top pocket is now easy to access with only opening the main compartment on top. payed 50€ for that and im very happy with the result. We will see if It's durable enough:) heading now to Thailand for 6 months SEA backpacking Edit: with YYK zippers but i dont like metal zipper pulls so cut them off and replaced with some 2mm paracord. like the blue on black looking and for visibility It's abeswome”

“For the life of me I’ll never understand the obsession with Peak Design. I’ve had both their everyday and their 45L travel pack for three years and I am elated to finally be getting rid of it. I like the smaller things they make - phone cases, their dop kit is outstanding, etc. from a backpack perspective they are over engineered but with features that don’t make sense and uncomfortable to wear (like really really uncomfortable to wear. Maybe if you’re a photographer it’s different but I’m always shocked to see how well it does on these lists.”
