If you’re leaning toward hybrids, that’s a solid direction because they keep their shape and handle travel well. I’ve been using the LEVEL8 Hegent lately and it’s held up really nicely. It’s actually on sale right now, so it could be worth comparing while you’re choosing”

They used to have a great replacement - my bag cracked after 2 uses and apparently that's not their fault. $400 bag down the drain unless I pay for their Pro insurance which they'll kindly retroactively offer. So, I'm stuck paying for that or just no bag at all. As someone who's purchased 5 carryons (gifted 3) and 2 checked bags from Monos, I will not buy from them again. Additionally, the wheels don't lock so when standing on a slight incline, the bag just rolls away. Now I'm having the opposite problem as well, the wheels have been so used up that it's a pain to roll it through the airport 6-8 times a month. I'm in the market for a new carry on now. The buy if for life subreddit seems to think highly of Briggs and Riley, and they seem to stand behind their luggage, so I might try that out next.”
