+36 pts“Well it seems like you loved these griffons until a little plastic part on the brakes broke on a fall after three years. My guy, gear is not bombproof. If this is going to make you not want to buy markers, just wait until your pivot half moon breaks, or your attack 14 brakes do the same thing. Or they don't, it took you three years for this to happen, couldve just as easily never happened. Ive broken marker brakes just trying to bend them before. Its mounted plastic..it happens when there is pressure that could come from an ejection. Structurally the heelpiece stayed on track and the mounting plate didnt rip out. Those are things to worry about. Also you ejected, rather than not. Thats a good thing. You got three solid years out of these, id be stoked to get one or two from a pair from any brand when i was riding hard. Marker also sells new brakes, just buy one and ur good to ski again...if you are worried about saftey go get them ASTM tested at ur local shop. I bet they pass.”
