Mine are from O’Connell’s but in general a made in Scotland, England or Ireland will do you right. Brands: William Lockie. Bosie. Jamiesons. Inis Meain makes great Irish sweaters. If you prefer cashmere, Scottish cashmere tends to be rougher and sturdier than breaks in over time. Italian cashmere tends to be softer and lighter. Norwegian/Scandinavian wool sweaters can be good, too. Secondhand is full of inexpensive, great sweaters for <$100. And the answer is never Quince. They are selling junk cashmere. ”
