Best praise vs top criticism for Kenmore 600 Series Canister
Best Praise
+13 pts“Everyone here is all about BIFL. I have a Kenmore 600. Consider I got mine for just under $300. If it lasts 10-15 years and breaks I could buy 30-45 years of these vacuums for less than the alternative and in a decade or two maybe they'll be even better anyway. I don't find it cumbersome at all. It does a 20x better job than anything rocket makes. I think its a great vacuum but among the most pretentious vacuum owners yea maybe its far from the greatest. It still makes a dyson or rocket look like a childs toy in comparison”

+3 pts“Actually, I will try what you are doing. = ) So far the cons are the 600 is clunky. I bought only because of the high suction , motorized head/I have carpeted bedrooms. The rest of the house is hardwood and vinyl. My living room is incredibly cluttered. What I have to do is move everything. It's such a headache, and then moving the 600 around in my narrow living room and other rooms. (I'm trying to keep a positive outlook) Tomorrow is vacumn day, so I will be more mindful on the which technique seems to work better for me. I'm not sure of you say the other posts, but a a few Redditors have mentioned using on the Kenmore Q Hepa bags and also buy a different kind of filter that sits in the back. I recently purchased the back filter off of Walmart's third part provider. I'll get back to you re the name.”

+32 pts“Waiting for all the “this sub is dumb and only recommends Miele and Sebo - my shark is amazing!!1 I just bought one 2 days ago!!1” people who don’t know any better and are trying to justify their ill-informed purchase decision. This post is precisely why we recommend Miele, Sebo and Henry (maybe Riccar too but that’s debatable). Simply put, they are the best vacuum brands on the market. Full stop.”

+10 pts“If you have 50% carpet you definitely need an electric powerhead which Henry does not have. You’ll want a Miele C1 cat and dog or Sebo K3 at a minimum. You will not be happy with the Henry’s performance on carpet with the turbo head.”
