Yes, sell the Embody and get the Soji with forward tilt and lumbar for home. It is on sale right now. You know the Soji works for you, so go with it. Otherwise you will end up down a rabbit hole elliribg every possibility, order many chairs, return them, try again, etc. It is hard to find a chair that works, so when you find one, go for it and save yourself a lot of time and headache. You are not missing anything regarding the Embody or Herman Miller in general. If the chairs don’t work with your body well, they simply are not the chairs for you. Chairs are extremely subjective and a chair that feels comfortable for one person can cause extreme pain for another person. After trying lots of chairs, I learned there is nothing special or unique about Herman Miller chairs. Just a lot of hype and excitement about having a “prestigious” chair from a “high-end” brand. All the chairs from all the brands are metal, plastic, and foam. The best chair money can buy is the chair that fits your unique body well. For you, that’s the Soji.

Soji’s forward tilt only lifts the back of the seat pan. It doesn’t bring the back forward to provide support. I’ve sat in other chairs like that and hated them for it. It feels like they’re trying to dump you off the seat. I’d go with the Leap every time. But don’t get one without a return option. BTOD and Crandall are both running great coupons right now. BTOD is HONOR10 for 10% off. Crandall is MEMORIAL24 for 11% off. If you want to save the most money, get BTOD’s refurbished Leap from this link, but select the Greener Option: https://www.btod.com/steelcase-leap-v2 With the coupon code, it’s about $514 and has a trial period with one free return per customer. I have an Amia like this and would buy one again in a heartbeat. If you want IMHO a more premium version, order from Crandall and select their BioKnit fabric: https://www.crandalloffice.com/shop/chairs/steelcase/462-leap-v2/remanufactured-steelcase-462-leap-v2-office-chair/ With coupon it’s $551 and they have a similar “one free pass” trial and return period. I used their reupholstery product to upgrade an old worn out Amia, and it’s now the best version of the Amia I’ve sat in yet. Between BTOD and Crandall, you cannot go wrong, but please protect yourself and buy a chair without a “no returns” anvil strapped to it.

No back is the same. That's why some love the Embody, some don't. The reason they're expensive is because it's cheaper to make or buy one chair that will last decades than 10 chairs that will last a few years tops. An aeron or a leap will be good in 15+ years. A SecretLab or any other gaming chair brand will be good for far less and they're far less healthy for your back.

That looks absolutely nothing like a Leap.
