Creed Aventus vs Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium

“The only time I've ever told someone they were wearing too much was when my coworker at my old pharmacy job was wearing a Black Opium type fragrance oil SO heavily that I could taste it in the air across the entire pharmacy, and it would waft through our drive through window every time we opened it. Literally had to move to the counting station furthest away from her and it still smelled like she was in my nostrils. When I said something I gently reminded her that a lot of our patients have respiratory issues and asked if it was a new fragrance for her because I'd never smelled fragrance on her before. She profusely apologized and explained that she didn't realize it was that strong because she was used to having to overspray body mists to get them to last, and confessed that she even had a headache smelling it on herself. She never overapplied that oil again!”

“It was Creed Aventus. I had been wearing Aventus for a while by then and was kind of getting a bit tired of it anyway. Him wearing 10 sprays of that sht everyday from January to July was the nail in the coffin though. I'm like yeah, I'm good. I don't want to be that dude or even associated with that smell anymore. It was one of the things that made me switch to more personal, light wearing fragrances. I didn't even want my fragrance to be noticed or project anymore lol. It came off as tacky and desperate.”
