“It's a Mongar 2 from Naturehike. I've had it for about 9 years, great so far, survived strong winds and heavy rain. Sudenly splintered when assembling on a chill camping. Cant use "emergency tubes" because they cannot pass through the intersection (unless you disassemble apart, but putting the elastic back on can't be easy)”

“I own both a copper spur and a Zpacks duplex. Both are excellent tents but for different reasons. Which one you should pick depends on what you value. Pick the copper spur if: - you want a tent that’s easy to pitch literally anywhere - you want a tent that has more features, like internal pockets and easier ventilation Pick the Zpacks if: - saving an entire kilo of weight is worth it to you! - you don’t mind managing condensation - you’re prepared to take the time to learn how to pitch properly Both are great, the copper spur is undeniably an easier option and has more features but weighs more than a true ultralight option like a Zpacks. For me, I reach for the Zpacks more often now because weight matters more than additional features personally.”
