+33 pts“Wider sound stage. Kinda feels closer to using speakers and helps for a more immersive experience imo. Plus outside of that, I like having knowledge of the outside world. You can get a cheap pair like the SHP9500 to test them out and see how you like them. I use the Fidelity X2 with a boom pro since it’s easy to drive and sounds great for games with the low end boost and wide soundstage. I think the only close back headphones I’ve used for games since I switched to open back are IEMs if I’m traveling or the DT770 since those also have a wider sound. But not as enjoyable as a good pair of open backs imo”
