“Allen Edmonds sucks after it was bought by private equity. The quality is so hit or miss. The designs of their non-core items are becoming weirder and catering to the dress shoe-sneaker hybrid crowd. And they are starting to out source now. Not worth the money unless secondhand.”

“I would definitely *not* do Birkenstocks. I think your feet would be in open revolution against the rest of your body by the middle of Day 2, if not the end of Day 1. I would recommend bringing 2 of your comfiest sneakers and rotating daily so your feet get a break. Probably not the most trendy MFA pieces, but, for clothing, I've done Birddog shorts and Rhoback polos for my last 2 WDW trips. Both items kept me nice and comfortable throughout the Florida humidity and heat. Only downside to the Birddog shorts is the built-in liner (which limits re-wearability).”
