Aer City Pack Pro vs Bellroy Transit Workpack

“I've been looking for a back to take to my office one day a week. I was looking at the Workpack, Tom Bihn Synik 22, CPL24, Aer Fit Pack, and Peak Design Everyday Zip, and decided on the Bellroy. --- **What I like** The bag is a great size for a day at an office and looks really sharp. It holds my lunchbox, 15" Dell something-or-other, water bottle*, and other small items I carry to work (Airpods, santizer, earbuds, laptop charger, etc.). Despite the nice looks, the bag feels quite like plastic. I don't mean it in a derogatory way, and it is made of recycled water bottles after all. I prefer the feel of nylon bags, but there's nothing wrong with this one. Overall, a pretty comfortable carry. **What's not so great** Water bottle pocket- I get that the internal bottle pocket adds to the sleek design, but using it is a pain. It's fine if you're only getting the bottle out once or twice in a day, but if you plan to use the bag as a daypack and need access to the bottle all day, it's going to get annoying. It also eats in to the main compartment of the bag, reducing carrying capacity. The top of the bag tends to fold in on itself making a perfect place for rain to pool (seen in the side profile picture). I haven't used it in the rain so I haven't been able to test it, but I would be a little weary of carrying the bag in the rain for a significant amount of time. --- Overall I like the bag, but I'm not sure it justifies its $200 price tag. Closer to $150 and I would say yes. I haven't decided yet if it's a keeper.”
