“Having used both Boston 12 and Evo SL I believe having both in the line up absolutely makes sense. To put it simply: Evo SL is not a conventional ride due to lack of rods. The superfoam without the stiffening element makes the energy return a bit chaotic. The rocker helps give it a directional feeling but it still doesn't feel as naturally forward propulsive. I feel like the shoe wants to bounce but it's not sure which direction to go. Boston 12 gave me this "push forward" feeling which is more natural for long workouts where you want the shoes to disapear on your feet. Evo SL is Boston's happy little brother. Both great shoes and I can 100% see them coexist in my rotation. Boston for longer runs, Evo SL as daily.”

“I don’t intend to be too direct but they’re not great at writing for comprehension. This is why you are confused. I’ll take a stab at it. I thought these shoes sucked! I just ran a half marathon in VF3’s and while I thought they sucked initially, it turns out they’re actually quite nice. They’re very light, and I’d say 5 miles into my last run I didn’t even feel like I was wearing shoes at all! They’re responsive, allow for easy change of pace, and didn’t rub or cause any foot discomfort. I probably shouldn’t have gone 13.1 in them because my plantar fasciitis has flared up. My first few runs in them I just didn’t feel anything special like everyone talks about, but after this last run, I’m sold on these bad boys! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️”
