Best praise vs top criticism for Greenworks Pro 3000 PSI
βIβm happy with my greenworks 3000 psi. I just recently swapped out the stock nozzles for some 4.0 orifice nozzles made for gas pressure washers. Measured GPM went from 1.1 gpm to 1.8 gpm (both measured by me using the bucket method) with a corresponding drop in pressure. Thatβs a very noticeable improvement when rinsing. Itβs not quite as much flow as an Active, but I retain the option to put the high-pressure nozzle back on and use it for things around the house.β
What Redditors Say
Best praise vs top criticism for Active 2.0
βIf youβre mainly washing your own cars at home as a weekend warrior, I think the Active 2.0 hits a really nice middle ground. The Ryobi units are solid too β especially considering they cost about half as much β but the Active 2.0 gives you better flow (around 1.8 GPM working flow) and smoother operation. I went through the same dilemma when setting up my detailing corner a few months ago, and ended up going with the Active 2.0. Iβve been really happy with it so far. For home use, I wouldnβt stress too much about repairability. A typical car wash probably uses your pressure washer for maybe 15β20 minutes total. Even if you wash weekly, thatβs barely 15 hours a year β well within the 200-hour lifespan Active advertises. At that pace, it should last you for many years. Also, thereβs a difference between serviceability and repairability. The Active 2.0 is repairable if something goes wrong β pumps and seals are replaceable β itβs just not as modular as a Kranzle or AR Blue commercial unit. Just keep in mind that the washer is only part of the equation. Youβll likely spend just as much on accessories like: β’ quick-connect fittings and nozzles β’ a better hose (the stock one is meh) β’ a short gun setup β’ and maybe a wall-mount or reel setup if you want convenience For context, I upgraded from a Sun Joe, and the Active 2.0 has been a huge step up in smoothness and water flow without going crazy on price. That said, I get the temptation every time I see the new Active 2.3 or AR Blue . But honestly, since I only do full pressure washes maybe twice a month (I use rinseless the rest of the time), the 2.0 makes the most sense for me. If I had to do it all over again, Iβd still stick with the Active 2.0 β itβs strong enough, reliable, and doesnβt leave me wishing Iβd gone βjust one model higher.ββ
