American Brass & Iron was until recently, a foundry in Oakland, California. They’ve since moved to Tyler, TX. They were in Oakland for something like 100+ years making cast iron sewer pipe and a line of cookware. AB&I was super gracious in hosting the event and sent everyone home with these great comals and other gifts. They were, imho, a real asset to the community. But as you can imagine, a big industrial foundry releases a lot of pollutants into the air, which became difficult in a dense metropolitan area. ”
