+4 pts“I just did the reverse. I gotten rid (returned refunded) of my 20 - day old R4 and switched over to V1G2. My R4 GPS fried after firmware update and I tried every trick in the pony playbook but nothing worked. It took CS 2 weeks to reply my first email, with an answer lifted of the IT Squad meme. V1G2 has no GPS, so no such issue. Opened the box and installed it, coonected it to their APP using BT, the update just popped over without any intervention. Has been hooking it up to JBV as its control unit from my android and works like a charm for me so far. JBV does the muting based on GPS POIs, etc. And, the suction cups of my R4 fell off after 1 day use. The V1G2 has been stuck for 1 month. Same setup trick, use saliva. YMMV”
