“You didn’t ask me, but I figured I would chime in…. I have a Tudor Pelagos (around 5k) and a Mido Ocean Star (around $500). The difference in build quality between them is minimal, and is in no way 10X different. I think around the $500 price point is really where value and good quality start to intersect… assuming you didn’t overpay for your watch. For the money, I appreciate the Swiss standards like Glycine, Mido and Certina. As always, buy what you like and get the best deal you can.”
