Best praise vs top criticism for SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless
“My friend’s been super picky about headsets too (he games + streams a lot), and the balance between comfort, wireless, and not-blasting-your-eardrums is weirdly hard to find. These SteelSeries wireless keep popping up during our search, and honestly, the hot-swappable battery thing and being able to adjust volume/mix right from the headset/base without diving into menus felt like the biggest draws. He’s super sensitive to sudden loud noises too, and the onboard EQ + noise limiting stuff helped him tweak it so he’s not jumping out of his chair every time something explodes in-game lol. It’s definitely not cheap, but if he’s gaming 10+ hours, I feel like it ticks a lot of the right boxes, not bulky, easy controls, and feels a bit more polished than other “gaming” options we looked at. We were between this and a cheaper wireless Razer one, but ended up leaning toward the Nova for the flexibility.”
“I just went through 3 highly rated headsets Arctis Pro Wireless absolutely awful Corsair Virtuoso mediocore Razer Nari Ultimate - Hilariously bad when in Discord Was coming from a Logitech G933 which has amazing surround sound and clarity. Sadly it was starting to die. Decided to give the G935 a try and what a decision that was. The surround sound is spot on and at almost half the price of the other listed ones. Why the garbage Arctis Pro is considered the best gaming headset is laughable.”
