Best praise vs top criticism for Sony NEX-6
“Honestly, my recommendation from shooting the nex 6 for street is getting a manual/vintage lens with a decently low f number like 1.8 or 1.4. in my experience, that's where this camera really shines now is adapting old glass and using newer cheaper manual lens. The color and dr is surprisingly good for how old the camera is. *”
“12800 ISO is really clean on a modern and expensive camera such as the A7IV, I would barely consider it something high. 12800 on my NEX-6, or even some older cameras, gives much worse results, to the point where ISO 51200 or even 102400 is on par with 6400/12800/16000 on an older camera. Max ISO, and 1, maybe 2 stops below that, is what I'd consider high.”
