If you haven’t heard neutral sounding headphones, they aren’t as exciting to listen to music. Sounds like you want a general purpose headphone that sounds good. Look for some well regarded v-shaped headphones. For example, I like the sound of my Sony MDR V6 way more when I A-B tested against the HD560s AND the 660S. It shooketh me, and my interest in high end headphones died that day. I had what I was looking for all along.

Reminding me of myself here and how I started out with a V6, 280 Pro, K240 Studio about a decade ago now. V6/7506 has always sounded unnecessarily aggressive to my ears and the 280 was smoother so I instantly took a greater liking to the latter. Nowadays unless you need the extreme isolation in a studio while tracking instruments, there have been better options out there but these two will already help narrow down your taste. Have fun and don't become a reviewer
