Best praise vs top criticism for Sony FX3
“So basically Open Gate recording? "On the other hand, 4K 60fps full-frame is amazing, but currently locked behind high-end models like the A7S III and FX3, with price tags starting above $3,000." ZV-E1.”
“6700 and fx30 are kinda same cameras. Same sensor and if I’m not wrong, same processor. But fx30 is a cinema line camera, so it has some menus and some features for videos, don’t really remember which one exactly, one is the 6 squeaks menus it’s was. Different body and as I commented earlier, active refrigeration. 6700 I would say it’s more for photo, and as the times we live in, the video can’t go wrong, so it has good features but with some limitations. But for you the most important is that it’s not going to overheat, small sensor which is kinda bad for quality (in comparation, it’s not worth the difference between fx3, 2k euros difference and only worth if you really work hard with it) and the good part of it, cheap lens😛 Which is awesome, I’m really actually thinking about selling my a7c with lens and buy the fx30 on sales or something. Cause 10 bit color, some features like active stabilisation, which works awesome with Sony lens… makes me think it twice.”
