$349.99 on AmazonBest praise vs top criticism for Sony Alpha a57
“I went through a similar thing a little over a year ago. My old a57 was starting to be a bit flakey. I had been resisting upgrading for as long as I could, as I knew it would be very large investment including new glass, etc. Decided on an a6700 along with a selection of lenses. Also got a Sony LA-EA5 A-Mount to E-Mount Adapter. My plan was to basically replace all of my glass, but there were a couple things not available right away. So the adapter allowed me to use some of my old A mount lenses for a while as I filled out my collection. I very specifically stuck with APS-C as the overall size and weight of my kit is very important to me. Since I was essentially buying a whole new ecosystem, I did look at other brands (Canon, Nikon, Fuji, OM, etc.). But in the end decided to stick with Sony. And I've been very happy with everything overall.”
