Best praise vs top criticism for Sony Alpha a35
“It really depends on what you want to take pictures of sometimes. a good general start is a standard zoom lens like a 24-70 or a fixed prime like a 35 or a 50mm. I have the same camera and I have the Sony 24-50mm f2.8 G and Sony 85mm 1.8 which I feel like cover 90 percent of my usage. Another good thing about Sony is their adaptability for vinatge lenses too. I feel like some of the vintage lenses provide a little magic and character that you just cant get from modern lenses. Best of luck with your journey, you bought a great camera!”
“Skip that 28-200 and save up for a 70-200. The 20-70 will cover you plenty for an all around lens and doubles as a 35-105 when you use aspc mode. The 20-70 practically lives on my a7cii, especially when traveling, and I have half a dozen other GM lenses that I only bring out for very specific use cases.”
