I managed to grab my Sony A300 (10.2 MP) with a kit lens for 180 AUD. When you're more comfortable with shooting, then buy a better lens. Here's a shot I got today with Minolta 50mm f1.7 prime lens. Not the sharpest and highest resolution, sure.
