Best praise vs top criticism for Sony a6500
“I use the 6500 and the newish 70-200 2.8 along with 1.4x tele. I am in love. I hike with it all the time. It’s lighter than when I was hauling around my 90mm macro lol”
“Idk who told you that the a6500 is "one of the best". It's like 4 generation behind. That being said you have to tell the camera where to focus. If you want the camera to guess that will cost you a bit more. Use AF-C and either Zone or Flexible Spot. On the first image it is not surprising the camera couldn't focus on the dog, it is waay too dark. The 2nd image looks to be in focus to me. Third is also too dark. Fourth is motion blurred, seems like your shutterspeed was too slow. Fifth looks like the camera focuse on the dogs body but it also got a bit motion blurred.”
