I've got these gsp500, the gsp 600 and the hd 600. No they don't sound like the hd series. The bass is better, mid range is very much inferior in terms of sounding natural and realistic, but the soundstage width and imaging is excellent with the gsp series. With some heavy handed precision eq I really love how the gsp series sound, very much underrated.

The gsp500 and gsp600 are not bad but they have a few issues. Also do note these are not Sennheiser gaming headsets. Comfort, which for the vast majority of people isn't very good. Sound also, while there in no way bad there not that good, the gsp600 is Atleast better than the game zero but the game one is a better headset than the gsp500. An it comes in at a cheaper price. Since there not Sennheiser any more, there EPOS, there handling the warranty claims and there having some issues with this I've heard nothing but issues when people try to contact them. This should be fixed in the future but for now it's not fixed. Also your saying it's better to just explain bass incorrectly because people don't know the difference? That's somehow better than just educating people? I'm sorry but this is a awful way to help people. The x2 and dt990 are too headphones with big bass that are both fairly cheap. Also eq can help. Also not recommending something because you wouldn't use it is kinda also a bad mind set. Your not recommending products for you, your recommending them for someone else. They don't like what you like and have different use cases. This is why you don't see me often saying oh yes I use that so you should buy it. If I personally will use something doesn't matter as I'm not the one looking for something to buy. I'm recommending stuff based on what the individual needs. Not what I need. If I only recommended my personal choice it would be like a small list of products and none would have remotely close to big bass. Recommending products isn't only about your single experiences, you have to look around and see what others thing when talking about customer service because you can only have one customer service experience. For example, steelseries has fantastic customer service, the amount of complaints for there's is very minimal.
