Best praise vs top criticism for Sea to Summit Big River
“I would go with the Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag. It's very tough and has great anchor points that have a high lb rating. I have it and its a great bag! Hope this helps!”
“Go on marketplace and buy a long 13’ or longer, narrow boat. It is hard to tell you which one since you don’t mention where you are paddling, big river ? Flat calm pond? Everyone else seems to be able to read your mind. If you have gotten the drift of the comments, your friends boats are really useless. The fishing boat you were on must be a barge. Any sit inside kayak 12’ and longer made in the last 25 years will be more efficient and faster than your friends. In my are a boat like that goes for about $300. If you can use a longer boat , no moving water with rapids-no twisty creek with strainers, then you will be even more efficient and faster, typical lengths are 15’ to 18’ in rotomolded plastic. Prices used are $300 -$600 except that guy that’s knows what he has at $2k”
