tldr; Bouncy daily trainer. PWRRUN PB foam throughout. Narrow fit, runs small. Great tempo shoe if it fits your foot.

Best praise vs top criticism for Saucony Freedom 5
“https://preview.redd.it/9ud8t59kuqke1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8928a0e634ac45181dbc6f98c708fd1863a9963d I was a Saucony loyalist for more than a decade before branching out last year. I ran/still run in several versions of the Ride, Triumph, Freedom (still my HM pr), Endorphin Speed and Pro. My first foray away from Saucony last year (Adidas AP3) was a mixed bag, but I’m happy to report that these most recent additions to my stable have worked out great so far. I’ve put just over 40 mi. each on the SuperBlast 2 and NovaBlast 5. NovaBlast 5: After a very brief stint with the NB4, which just felt okay to me, I picked up a pair of NB5’s. I usually don’t buy newly released shoes, waiting for discounts, but I’m glad I took a chance on these. Right out of the box, these felt extremely comfortable. They fit TTS and felt very plush. I currently look forward to my runs with these shoes, using them for everything but sprints. SuperBlast 2: Because I had such a good experience with the NovaBlast, I had to find out what all the hype behind the SB2 was about. So far, they have not disappointed. I've used them primarily for longer runs (10+ mi.), and I plan on using them for a marathon PR attempt next week. I feel like the SB2 will be put to better use with my marathon pace, compared with the plated shoes I've previously used. They've got a little more bounce than the NB5. Had to get a 1/2 size up to get a better fit.”
“Loved the Freedom 3, but not so much the 4. I think the geometry doesn't do the foam justice on the 4 and 5. Which version do you have? They are very different shoes.”
