Best praise vs top criticism for Metabo HPT 36V MultiVolt Triple Hammer WH36DC
“My answer is both/and not either/or. I have Metabo HPT for my carpentry/woodworking tools. Love the triple hammer and their mid-range drill (with hammer function). I also have their 18v miter saw, sidewinder saw, recip saw(s), impact wrench, and two nailers. They are very nice tools, equal to DeWalt/Milwaukee in build quality and with very good performance. I have Ryobi 40v for the yard tools. Chainsaw, pole saw, weed wacker. If you buy the tools carefully, you can good deals on both. Lowe's seems to always have Metabo HPT in clearance, so you can get good deals there. Ryobi does promos. I have nothing against the Ryobi 18v tools, but I think the Metabo HPT are better and often don't cost very much more. Yard tools take a beating and need to be replaced every 5 years or som. Ryobi does a great job on those.”
