+2 pts“I have a Logitech doorbell - its pretty good, works with Apple Homekit, was able to tie to my existing doorbell, I don’t pay a subscription but I do have an Apple storage plan already so it just worked with it I have some Eufy cameras, the aren’t great in the way I deployed them. I wanted them inside but they really need that IR sensor to work which doesn’t work through a window. Also charging batteries is annoying even if it’s not often I have some ReoLink cameras - wired POE with an NVR. I like them a lot, they were cheap, the NVR works, running the POE through the attic wasn’t the most fun thing to do but now that it’s done I’m happey with them. They have great color night vision, the notifications are pretty good, and it’s all local via the NVR.”

It’s possible to add it directly to HomeKit and there’s no subscription fee, can access footage from the home app, save clips to my phone, etc. I chose this one because of the HomeKit compatibility and the other HomeKit options (Logitech circle) were known for overheating in the sun. I have a south facing door and never had issues with overheating. Been using it for about 2 years now”
