If it’s just for school (note-taking, browsing, docs, maybe light coding), you don’t need the P15 “workstation” with Quadro graphics that’s overkill unless you’re doing CAD or heavy rendering(in that school your school should have recommendations). The **ThinkPad T14 or X13 Yoga** are solid all-rounders: good keyboard, durable, and 16GB RAM is plenty for school tasks. Surface 4 is lighter and sleeker but pricier and less repairable. So unless you need the dedicated GPU, I’d lean toward a T14/T14 Yoga for value and reliability.
